Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy is an integral part of a holistic rehabilitation for children and adults. It has the purpose to maintain and improve the quality of life. The clients should learn to care for themselves and independently.
 
Occupational therapy focuses on targeted therapy in affected areas with a focus on gross and fine motor skills of the upper limbs, movement, coordination, muscle strength, body image and sensor. This also includes:
 
  • Graphomotor skills
  • Rehabilitation of cognitive and communicative abilities
  • Solutions in everyday life, examination and treatment of everyday activities (e.g. eating, drinking, dressing, personal hygiene, mobility)
  • Advice on the selection and testing of practical tools
  • Changes to the home environment or work environment
  • Advice for cooperation in the family
