Speech and Language Therapy

Speech and language therapy is based on diagnosis, treatment and prevention of language disorders, speech and communication. It is part of health care for children, adults and seniors.
 

In the therapies with children, we focus on:

  • Pronunciation interferences
  • Language delay
  • Learning difficulties (grammar, writing and arithmetic)
  • Developmental disorders (autism, Down syndrome)
  • Fluency disorders (stuttering)
  • Myo disorders
  • Orofacial disorders and swallowing disorders
  • Cleft lip and cleft palate
  • Twang
  • Communication with hearing and visual impairments
In the therapies with adults and seniors, we focus on:
 
  • Pronunciation interferences
  • Fluency disorders (chronic stuttering)
  • Myo disorders (such as for dental prostheses)
  • Aphasia
  • Dysarthria (e.g. state after brain injury)
  • Neuro degenerative diseases (Huntington's disease, Multiple Sclerosis)
